At Jackson's Kennel we raise AKC registered Doberman puppies. We do not breed for color or size. Our breeding goal is to provide breed standard dogs bred for health and longevity. All of our puppies are raised in our home, alongside our children and other dogs. Puppies will be cropped (unless requested to be left natural), tails docked, dewclaws removed (unless request to be left intact), and will be vetted. Deworming is done biweekly, core vaccines begin at 5 or 6 weeks old depending on weight of the puppies and is followed by the second round of core vaccines at either 8 or 9 weeks old. Early neurology stimulation (ENS) begins within the first week of life, and is followed up with desensitization to textures, sounds (including fireworks, thunder/rain, and banging noises), images (included hats, glasses and beards), and objects. Puppies will leave nails trimmed, started on flea medication, started on heartworm prevention, microchipped with Fi Nano chips, AKC registered carrying the Jackson's name, with pet insurance, have a limited 2 year health guarantee and lifetime congenital and genetic defect guarantee, and will go home with a take-home baggie with toys, treats, and puppy packet.
